ROLE OF THE JOB
We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic, hardworking and knowledgeable individual to work within our Licensing Team. The Licensing Service administers and enforces a range of licensing regimes.
The Licensing Service forms part of the Business Compliance and Public Safety Unit which sits within the Public Protection Service.
The role will play a key part in the delivery of the licensing service supervising a team of staff providing licensing processing services. The team cover a range of licensing areas including taxis, street trading, caravan sites and scrap metal.
This role involves regular direct contact with members of the public, solicitors and councilors and therefore requires a high degree of effective communication skills and an ability to work under pressure.
This is a full time, permanent position
The position is based at West Hartford Community Fire Station (West Hartford Business Park, NE23 3JP), agile working is strongly encouraged but attendance at offices will be required on a regular basis.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
- A high degree of effective communication skills.
- An ability to work under pressure.
- Valid UK driving licence
