Northumberland Skills Service (part of Northumberland County Council) is proud to offer high-quality vocational education and training to learners across the region. As part of our continued growth and investment in technical skills, we are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join our team based at our state-of-the-art training centre at the Port of Blyth — a specialist hub designed to simulate real working environments and prepare learners for success in industry.

A Market Force Allowance of £3,452 can be applied to the main scale band depending on experience.
Essential Requirements:
· A Level 3 qualification or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· A Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards one.
· A relevant Assessor qualification or willingness to achieve this.
· A strong, innovative approach to teaching and delivering educational programmes from Level 1 to Level 3, including apprenticeships.
· GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade A–C (or equivalent).
· Good knowledge and understanding of the Education Inspection Framework.
· A commitment to inclusive education and supporting the progress of all learners.
· A genuine desire to inspire and equip the next generation with industry-relevant skills and behaviours.
· The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
