We are seeking to appoint Associate Educational Psychologist/s to join our supportive and dedicated team. As a service we are committed to the application of educational and psychological research to improve outcomes for children and young people. We seek to promote the use of inclusive, evidence-based, practices to help children and young people overcome barriers to educational achievement; social and emotional well-being; and mental health. Our Associate Educational Psychologists will complete mainly statutory assessment work with schools and settings but possibly other generic EP work if the need arises.
We have a central base in County Hall, Morpeth although currently most colleagues are home working. We have access to hot desking facilities in other localities and work closely with other SEND services. We have high quality administrative support and are a supportive and friendly team! Our Associate EPs are paid on Soulbury and enjoy all the benefits of being part of a Local Authority Team but on a casual contract where there is no obligation on either part to offer or accept work.
THESE POSTIONS ARE ONLY OPEN TO FULLY QUALIFIED EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGISTS REGISTERED WITH THE HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONS COUNCIL (HCPC).
