Northumberland County Council’s Staff Bank provides a pool of highly skilled temporary workers who are looking for a long-term placement, or who want to work flexibly within the council. If a team needs support due to sickness, common staff shortages, or general vacancies, they call upon registered bank members to fill available assignments. These can be filled via a long-term assignment for up to 12 months on an ad hoc basis.
We are looking for multiple Café & Information Assistants to join our team at Druridge Bay Country Park.
Duties to include:
- Working front of house providing customer service and providing the public with information about our parks and the local area
- Food preparation
- Cleaning of work areas
- Serving customers and any other related tasks.
No experience needed; previous café work preferred however all training will be provided.
Variable hours with weekends and bank holidays available. Pay is £12.85 per hour, with higher rate for weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are offered on a Ad Hoc basis.
