Soulbury Assistant Educational Psychologist Scale, Points 2 - 5 
Northumberland Psychological Service is seeking to appoint an Assistant Educational Psychologist to enhance the work of our team and the Be You Mental Health Support Teams in Northumberland. The successful candidate will join a service which is highly valued by schools, settings and other stakeholders. Working alongside, and supervised by, Educational Psychologists, the successful applicant will engage in a range of preventative and early intervention work, as well as supporting the statutory assessment process. 
The Service has good links with Newcastle University and regularly hosts doctoral trainees. 
This post is suitable for individuals who already have an honours degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) and have experience of working with children and young people. The posts are fixed term for a year and primarily designed for those who are interested in undertaking formal training to become an Educational Psychologist in the future.
