Do you want to join Northumberland County Council as a Social Worker? There are posts currently available within Central Locality Team, providing Statutory Social Work Service around the areas of East Northumberland, offering a variety of experiences and opportunities to the role. Using the Signs of Safety model, Northumberland is a family and child focused Authority, with strong and effective management and leadership (Ofsted reported!). Known for being supportive of staff and with a strong ethos for flexibility, working in Northumberland Children's Services is like having a second family (so say our staff). You will carry a mixed caseload of children in a variety of circumstances (CIN/CP/LAC) and provide direct social work intervention to (children, young people and their families) in the community.
