SEND Office Manager

Job Information

An office manager is required for the statutory assessment and review team to organise, manage and lead a team of admin staff and to support the team manager in delivering a high-quality service to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in Northumberland. The successful candidate will manage the induction, appraisals, training and development of the admin staff, implement, maintain and lead on the corporate CAPITA EMS system for SEND, prepare agendas and minute panel and other meetings, liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, schools and other professionals, and be responsible for completing complex data returns. Previous experience of supervising staff is essential, as is the ability to monitor budgets, process data and respond to enquiries both verbally and in writing. Excellent IT skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are essential skills in this fast paced team. Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes related to SEND is highly desirable.

The salary is starting at £21,236. This post is 0.8 of a full time post.
