Lecturer- Welding and Fabrication

Job Information

Northumberland Skills Service [part of Northumberland County Council] is seeking to appoint a Welding & Fabrication Lecturer who can make a difference within Northumberland.

The role is for individuals with both significant Industry experience and experience in delivering programmes to Post 16 learners and Apprentices.

A Market Force Allowance of £3452 will be applied to the main scale Band depending upon experience.

 Applicants for the position need to have:

- Level 3 or above in relevant Skill trade.

- A Teaching Qualification or willing to work towards.

- A relevant Assessor qualification or willing to work towards.

- An innovative approach to delivering high quality educational programmes across a range of programmes from Level 1 to Level 3.

- GCSE Grade A to C in English and Maths or appropriate equivalent.

- Good knowledge of Education Inspection Framework.

The successful candidate to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
