Job Information
Technical Services manage and maintain the Northumberland Highways and Structures network with a large team of highly skilled individuals working from various depots across the County.
You will assist the Senior Team Leaders in delivering a wide range of technical Highways projects as well as being responsible for day-to-day workload and staffing issues.
You should be able to demonstrate an ability to manage staff and resources in order to deliver Capital and Revenue schemes on time and within budget. You will travel to operational sites on a daily basis liaising with Team Leaders and Supervisors at all times of the year in all weather conditions, as well as attending meetings with colleagues at various depots across the county or attend virtual meetings. You will be expected to make positive contributions to these meetings. You will need to demonstrate an awareness of all related Health and Safety matters to protect yourself and others while working on the Highway.
