ROLE OF THE JOB
- Day to day management of sign delivery/installation and the securing of new clients/customers.
- Working in a sign manufacturing unit, supervising a skilled team of sign installers.
- Increasing the current sign shop turnover year on year.
- To ensure the service meets the requirements of the County Council.
- Manage the service to achieve high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
- Attend site meetings/visits with clients.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
- Good management, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in TSRGD 2016 sign legislation and installation, and other commercial sign installation.
- Monitor staff training requirements and oversee completion of all statutory and mandatory training.
- A proven track record of managing operations and staff.
- Experience in budgetary and financial control.
- Knowledge of commercial practices within the private sector.
- Assist, consult and negotiate with clients, market services, and promote good customer relationships.
- Willingness to work outside of normal office hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Full driving licence.
This role is offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months from start date.
