General/Kitchen Assistant

Job Information

Tynedale House is a residential home, rated Outstanding by CQC which provides excellent support and care to people with learning disabilities in both residential and respite settings.
 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly person who can fulfil the role of a general/kitchen assistant to join our team to ensure the cleanliness of the home and kitchen area is kept to a high standard.
 
Duties include food preparation, assisting cook with meals, keeping kitchen area clean and tidy, washing floors and washing dishes.
 
This is a permanent, part time position (17.5 hours). 

Salary is £10,578 - £11.59 per hour (£22,366 full time equivalent)
 
The successful candidate will need to be able to meet a 2 week set rota, which is as follows:

Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday 8.00am- 13.30pm
Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8.00am- 1.30pm

These hours incorporate 30min break each shift
