The Service


NCC operates 5 children’s homes including a national secure children home with education. Overall the service employs 130 care staff and 30 support services staff across the 5 sites. Our Homes accommodate 25 young people aged 6 - 17, our main aim is to offer an exceptional family focussed caring environment where children and young people can feel safe and excelled in their abilities and futures.


The service is regularly inspected by Ofsted, currently our homes are rated as Outstanding or Good. It is crucial that everyone in our team is committed to the best safe care of our young people.


We currently have a vacancy for a permanent Domestic Assistant at Pegsworth House Children’s Home in Pegswood.


The Role


We are looking for a motivated and flexible person to provide a domestic service within Pegsworth House Children’s Home in Pegswood.


Working 18.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean home including living areas, office areas and bedrooms, complying with hygiene and health and safety legislation.


You will have experience of cleaning in a care setting and interacting with service users in a caring manner.
