Care Supervisor (Adult Social Care - Learning Disabilties) - The Tynedale Centre, Hexham (Day Centre)
Permanent | Full time 37 hours | £28,598 - £31,022 (£14.82 - £16.08 per hour)

We are looking for a dedicated Care Supervisor, who is committed to helping maintain a quality service.
Our team at Tynedale centre, Hexham supports adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Our aim is to empower vulnerable adults by building independence through engaging in educational, social, therapeutic and employment opportunities to broaden life experiences and allow service users to exercise their right to self-determination and choice.
You'll be working in a vibrant, supportive environment where no two days are the same.
The centre is open Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm.
About the role:
As a Care Supervisor, you will:
- Support and guide a team of Care Workers in delivering personalised, empowering care.
- Carry out regular supervisions and appraisals, providing clear support and guidance to help our Care Workers grow, develop and progress within NCC.
- Lead by example in creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment
- Work closley with service users to promote independence through educational, social, theraputic and employment opportunities
- Ensure that dignity, choice and individuality remain at the heart of the service
