Job Information

We are looking for an experienced and conscientious Business Support Administrator to join the new Business Support Team supporting senior leaders (including the Executive Management Team and Directors) across the Council.

Working as part of the Business Support Team you will play an integral role ensuring our council works effectively supporting senior leaders through the delivery of high quality, flexible and proactive business support. In this role you will undertake a range of business support tasks including but not limited to scheduling, planning and organizing key meetings, producing agendas, preparation of detailed and accurate notes and documents, organizing and managing information and paperwork, and undertaking assigned projects.

To succeed in this role you must be able to build and maintain strong working relationships.   We are looking for someone who is comfortable working at pace, has a keen eye for detail and is confident at managing competing and changing priorities. Bringing a high level of professionalism, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage challenging situations and confidential information.  

You will be based at County Hall with hybrid working arrangements. This is a fixed term role, Band 3 salary £23,500 - £23,893.

Requirements of the role:
Good general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a business related discipline
Experience in a similar role covering a broad range of support tasks and procedures
Experience in using office applications on a personal computer.
