Job Information

Salary: £23500 plus Market Force Allowance of £2000 per annum payable in addition to the basic salary.  
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time
Allowances: Enhancement paid between the hours of 8.00pm - 6.00am and weekends starting from £4700 per annum, depending on hours worked.
Hours per week: 37hrs

Please note that this position will be working 10.00-18.00hrs Wednesday - Sunday.

The successful candidate must hold NVQ Level 2 – Food Preparation and Cooking, C&G 706/1&2 or equivalent and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Knowledge of operating associated tools and equipment.  Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relating to a catering environment.  Trained in Manual Handling.

Experience of working in a catering environment to include food and preparation and cooking.

You will work as part of a team to ensure standards are met and to ensure that the medical, cultural, religious and ethnic dietary needs of the young people are adequately met.
