Adult Services Lead Manager

We are looking for a passionate and energetic leader to join our adult social care provider team. As a lead manager in our in-house provider services, you will lead, support and advise managers and teams of residential, daycare and shared lives staff. You will develop and deliver high quality services that help people to live their best life, as well as having an important role and contribute to the wider objectives of adult social care and the council.

You will inspire, be creative in problem solving and be confident in delivering consistent and measurable quality in regulated and non-regulated services. You will have wide knowledge of and significant managerial experience in managing adult social care and/or learning disability teams and a proven record of partnership working, budgetary management and solving complex problems through innovation.

You will operationally manage 13 x services and approx. 250 staff who work in varied settings across the whole of Northumberland and you will work across a hybrid of office, home and service bases. The salary starts at NCC, band 12 58,046 (22/23) and is a permanent contract.

REQUIREMENTS:
You will have a relevant professional qualification and thorough understanding of legislation, regulations and professional practice.

You will have a track record of engaging with others at a senior level and building productive
partnerships and have significant managerial experience of registered and non-registered services.

You will be able to drive and visit services across the county and work unsocial hours as required.
