An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Information Analyst to join our Information and Performance Team within Adult Services.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and developing performance dashboards and management information reports, primarily using SQL and Power BI. You'll also contribute to producing statutory returns for the Department of Health and Social Care, helping ensure our services are informed, effective, and responsive to need.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified and experienced in data collection, processing, analysis, and dashboard development.
- A strong analyst with a proven ability to interpret and present accurate, meaningful data.
- Proficient in SQL, Power BI (including Power Query), Excel, and databases.
- Familiar with warehouse/lakehouse-style data platforms.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and transforming them into clear insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
Candidates are expected to be:
- Proactive with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Innovative and confident in using creative problem-solving to tackle challenges.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a busy team.
It is essential to have an undergraduate qualification in a subject with substantial numerate content, or equivalent experience.
The post is hybrid, based at County Hall in Morpeth, with the option to work from home.
Salary: Band 7 £34,314 - £37,938

Hours: Full time, 37 hours
