Admin Assistant

Job Information

We are looking to recruit an Admin Assistant to join our District Admin Team based in Hexham, Northumberland.

You will be providing a clerical and typing service, including maintaining information systems such as filing, service, client or asset records, booking systems and reference materials in a manner that ensures accuracy, confidentiality, rapid access and ease of use.

In accordance with service demands you’ll also undertake general office services such asphotocopying, collation, lamination, binding, and possible reception duties for multi-disciplinary teams in an environment where interruptions are commonplace and sensitivity to callers’ needs are required. Are you a team player with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, who can follow instructions and procedures without constant supervision and have a flexible approach to duties on or off normal base to cater for the varying demands of this role?

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your administrative skills and join a friendly team which is based at Dene Park House.

We require a good team player who is enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable with a high level of communication skills (both written and verbal).

This is full time (37 hours), permanent position. NCC Band 3 salary £21,575 - £21,968.

Requirements:

  • OCR/RSA II Typing/Word Processing or equivalent/relevant experience
  • Good standard of general education
  • The candidate should have good numeracy and literacy skills as well as good communication and listening skills.
  • Have good organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise work, use your initiative as well as working to deadlines.
