We are currently looking for a support worker to join our team!

Wansbeck Supported Living Service, supports individuals with learning disabilities and personality disorders who may display behaviours of concern to live in their own homes, living a life that they choose. We are a CQC registered service who strive to achieve an overall outstanding. 
 
We support individuals in a person-centred way with all aspects of their lives, from personal care, dietary needs, domestic tasks, activities, community access and staying connected with family and friends promoting a high quality of life for all.

Requirements: 

The successful candidate should have experience in a care setting, desirably with people with a learning disability and who may display behaviours of concern and should be flexible to the needs of the service and service users. 

  • NVQ/QCF level 2 in health and social care or equivalent is preferable 
  • This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.

Please note this service is 24/7, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in a rota that may consist of days, nights and weekends.

 Salary and hours
30 hours per week, permanent. 

NCC Band 4 salary £22,369 - £24,054 (pro rata for part time employees) - £11.59 per hour
