Northumberland County Council’s Staff Bank provides a pool of highly skilled temporary workers who are looking for a long-term placement, or who want to work flexibly within the council. If a team needs support due to sickness, common staff shortages, or general vacancies, they call upon registered bank members to fill available assignments. These can be filled via a long-term assignment for up to 12 months or on an ad hoc basis.
The Role
If you have an understanding of how data can be used to improve services and are interested in a career in the world of data, this is an ideal opportunity to get experience of this within a friendly and supportive environment.
The Family Hub project team are looking to develop their performance team who specialise in reporting performance information and analysing key themes to drive improvement.
As part of the team, you will support the collection, monitoring and validating of performance information, including the maintenance of systems, with key emphasis on accuracy and completeness of information and meeting service needs. You’ll assist others in the interrogation of performance data to establish methods of improving service performance.
Ideally you will have experience of working effectively within a busy team. You will be able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy when handling data as well as understanding the benefits of data analysis and undertaking data quality checks.
