We are seeking to recruit a Team Manager who will work collaboratively alongside other Team Managers under the direction of the Children's Services Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, coordinating and developing the work of a social work team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children, young people and their families. 

The role involves providing supervision, consultation and leadership to team members, while ensuring statutory responsibilities are met in accordance with Northumberland County Council policies, procedures and professional standards. 

You will have a minimum of three years' post-qualifying experience in statutory social work with children and families, together with the ability to support and develop colleagues through coaching, mentoring and reflective practice. You will be able to demonstrate how you have promoted learning and practice development, provided professional challenge and critical reflection, and supported the growth of social workers. Previous experience of direct line management responsibilities is also essential.
