The Role
Housing Repairs and Maintenance prides itself in working together as a team to deliver high quality repairs whilst working safely and productively.
There are a staff of nearly 100 working across Northumberland delivering the service to 8,700 properties in our housing stock. The Team Leaders are the first line managers who drive the teams under their control by using their experience coupled with a strong desire to provide its customers with the very best levels of service.
We are looking for a Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader to provide close supervision and management of an internal multi-trade's workforce and management of some external specialist contractors delivering high quality services to our customers' homes. You will be based at Blyth Civic Centre and working across the County.
Salary Band 8 £37,336 - £41,418
Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week)
Requirements of the Role
- NVQ level 4 or above with experience of working in a social housing repair and maintenance background at supervisory level
- Qualified level 3 in construction trade
- Valid UK driving license
- Willing to undertake training and qualifications to enhance personal and service driven targets
