Student National Landscape Project Officer


Fixed term to 30/06/2027

Are you studying towards an environmental degree and passionate about protecting nature? Join our National Landscape Team and gain hands-on experience delivering conservation projects, supporting volunteers, engaging local communities, and helping improve access to some of Northumberland's most valued landscapes. 


What you'll do:

  • Support conservation and landscape projects.
  • Assist with events, volunteer activities and community engagement.
  • Carry out site inspections and wildlife monitoring.
  • Help improve visitor access and experiences across the National Landscape. 

What we're looking for:

  • A student working towards an environmental-related degree.
  • Passion for wildlife, conservation and the countryside.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and travel across the National Landscape.
