Job Information
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent), applicants must hold a Social Work England registration.
- A BIA qualification with relevant post qualifying experience.
- An excellent working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Human Rights Act and related legislation.
- An ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
- The ability to prioritise workload
- The ability to carry out Deprivation of Liberty safeguards assessments and make recommendation's concerning people’s liberty.
- The ability to write excellent reports that will withstand legal scrutiny
- Due to the nature of this role, it is an essential requirement that the post holder has a valid driving licence and has access to a car they can use for work purposes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills.
- 26 days annual leave plus public/bank holidays, rising to 31 days after 5 years of service (pro rata for part-time employees)
