Northumberland County Council has an exciting opportunity for a Service Review Lead to be responsible for successfully delivering high profile service reviews.
The Improvement & Innovation Service works at the heart of the Council, driving change organisation-wide, to deliver better outcomes and better value for money for residents. At the forefront of making change happen, we act as a key source of advice for the Executive leadership and Members on service improvement and change. This will be integral to the successful delivery of our strategic change programme over the next 2 years.
The Service Review team within Improvement and Innovation aims to deliver enduring impact, through strong internal and external partnerships based on support, challenge, trust and honesty. As Service Review Lead, you will be responsible for identifying, scoping, planning and delivering high profile reviews that result in enduring positive change. You will trouble-shoot areas of concern and implement innovations that improve the services the Council delivers. You will also line manage Service Review Officers effectively to ensure all service reviews in the programme are delivered successfully to completion.
The salary for this post is Band 11 (£51,174pa-£54,611pa), with normal hours of work of 37 per week. You will be supported by our friendly, experienced team and whilst primarily based in our main office at Morpeth County Hall virtual working arrangements are also in place.
