Northumberland County Council are looking to appoint a Lead HR Adviser – Education Special Projects on a two-year fixed term contract to support the Head of School Organisation and Resources in the provision of highly specialist HR advice during school consultations and re-organisations. 

 

As Lead HR Adviser – Education Special Projects you will provide HR advice to school staff, headteachers, managers and governors on a wide range of HR issues.  Draft policies, procedures and guidelines as appropriate, included influencing trade unions where necessary.

The post is based at County Hall, Morpeth.  Please note that it is expected that the successful candidate will spend at least one day per week in County Hall with flexibly working from home throughout the rest of the week.  It is expected that the post holder will also undertake meetings in educational settings and Local Authority premises across Northumberland.
