What the candidate will be doing on a day-to-day basis
The successful candidate will be working, closely with other horticultural staff and undertaking horticultural duties
Background on department
The Seaton Valley NEAT team work across the 5 villages in Seaton Valley, Seaton Delaval, Seaton Sluice, Seghill, New Hartley and Holywell. The team undertake a range of duties, including grounds maintenance, horticultural and street cleansing duties, to enhance the local environment across the villages. You will be a member of this, highly regarded team, and help deliver the range of services we provide.
Type of person we are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and expand their knowledge and skills through hands-on experience.
Location
We have an operational depot, based in Astley Park, Seaton Delaval. The team work from here when delivering the above services

National Apprenticeship Framework
Contract Type
Fixed Term for duration of apprenticeship training, plus 6 months for End Point Assessment.
