This position is 1 of 2 new senior roles that have been established within the Finance Department to help us achieve our ambition of transforming our Council and county.  Reporting to the Director of Finance and Procurement, the Head of Corporate Finance will lead the Corporate Finance Team and lead on a number of projects which will help to develop and improve the service to ensure that effective and efficient services are delivered to all of our stakeholders. 

 

As part of the Council’s Senior Management Team, the Head of Corporate Finance will work collaboratively with finance colleagues and other senior stakeholders to ensure that the services delivered will support the priorities outlined in the Council’s Corporate Plan and be a Council that works for everyone to benefit the people of Northumberland. 

 

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to own a new role and we are looking for a confident, committed & strategic leader to become our Head of Corporate Finance.   

 

You will lead an experienced team and use your leadership and technical experience to make the service the best it can be.
