Job Information
- You must have a good standard of education and knowledge of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Anti - Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 and other associated environmental & waste control related legislation. You should also have a working knowledge of the Regulation of Investigative Powers Act 2000 (RIPA) and The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE).
- You will be expected to have excellent literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to provide comprehensive reports and the ability to handle difficult confrontational situations involving angry or aggressive customers.
- You must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build excellent working relationships to adopt a collaborative approach to work both internally and with partner organisations.
- Be able to work alone.
- Possess a Full Driving Licence.
- Possess good IT skills.
- Possess a Good Investigative Background.
- Be able to deal with Hostile Customers and Situations.
- 26 days annual leave plus public/bank holidays, rising to 31 days after 5 years of service (pro rata for part-time employees)
