Early Years Worker Band 3 (18.5 hours per week – Fixed Term 31st August 2026)
An opportunity has arisen in our Cubs & Kits Daycare Nursery and Pre-School, for us to recruit one 18.5 hours per week Early Years Worker post. This is a fixed term post, covering maternity leave, based at our Berwick Family Hub.
We are looking for an individual who has good communication skills, is self-motivated, reliable and enjoys working as part of a busy team. You will have had experience of working with babies/children 6months – 4 years old, in an Early Years setting, hold a minimum level 3 Early Years qualification, have a sound understanding of child development and the needs of young children along with a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and Practice. You will also be competent completing children’s assessments and working and communicating with families and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families. With our Forest School provision within our setting, you will have a love of the outdoors.
