Job Information

Data Assistant Band 2, 12 Months Fixed Term
You will provide system support to users of the Capita ONE/EMS system via telephone, email and face to face, so good communication skills are essential. You will also assist in the continuous maintenance and cleansing of data within the system.
You will assist in the transfer of data from schools pupil databases to the central pupil database (EMS/Capita ONE). This will include liaising with and supporting schools in this process and ensuring that there is appropriate validation to maintain an accurate and up to date database of pupils in schools in Northumberland. Extensive experience of school MI systems e.g. SIMS would be desirable.
You will be required to assist in the production, checking and submission of pupil level statutory returns for the Department of Education, liaising with schools, Computer Services and the DfE. This will include understanding and effectively communicating the importance and implication of these returns.
You must possess good GCSE grades in subjects(s) that shows ability to work with and process data. Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential.
