The Community Safety Department is responsible for the delivery of a number of programmes aimed at keeping our communities safe and well by providing excellence and quality in all we deliver. We are now looking to recruit three enthusiastic Delivery Officers to join our highly successful team, completing Safe & Wellbeing Visits to provide fire safety advice to residents across Northumberland.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the health and well-being of communities and strengthen relationships between the fire and rescue service and the communities it serves. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the preparation, delivery and evaluation of our Safe & Wellbeing Programme, providing appropriate advice and guidance to a range of residents.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate knowledge/understanding of working with diverse groups of people, have good communication skills, a flexible approach, and an ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels are essential.
