Cared for Child (CfC) Co-ordinator
Band 3, 0.6 FTE, term time only. Fixed term, initially for one year.
Base: County Hall, Morpeth
There is an exciting opportunity to join Northumberland Virtual Schools, multi-disciplinary ESLAC, Education Support for Looked After Children Team as a Cared for Child Co-ordinator to support the education of care experienced children and young people.
The successful applicant will provide comprehensive admin support to the ESLAC team. In addition to standard administrative tasks such as data processing, extracting data, ordering supplies, the role will include admin support with the PEP (personal education plan) and EHCP (Education Health and Care plan) process, therefore accuracy and the ability to follow processes is needed. Considerable experience of using the required skills in a recent role and be confident using various systems including working with data - setting up spreadsheets, extracting data and the ability to share in a meaningful way is essential. The role will also include minute taking, formatting documents, using PowerPoint and canva.
The team work closely with schools, carers and social workers therefore excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.
Closing Date: 12 noon, Monday 14th October. Interviews to be held on Wednesday 23rd October at Northumbria House, Cramlington. The interview process will include a short task.
