Bricklayer (Multi-skilled)

ROLE OF THE JOB

We are looking for someone who has vast skills and knowledge of the bricklaying trade with bricklaying being the main focus of this role. You will be carrying out internal and external repairs to occupied tenanted properties in the Northumberland area.

To ensure we provide an efficient service for our customers, having experience in other trades is essential. You'll need to be a friendly and approachable individual with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

  • NVQ L2 Bricklaying (essential) NVQ L3 (desired)
  • Experience of working as a Bricklayer in the building trade either as a Bricklayer or as a multi-skilled Bricklayer
  • Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council
  • Associated trade skills of basic carpentry, plaster patching and floor/wall tiling would also be desirable
  • Experience of delivering multi-trade work
  • Ensure that all work is carried out safely in line with H&S regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience of keeping jobs on track
  • The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently
  • Full clean driving License
  • As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check
