The role of Advanced Practitioner is to lead the way, role model good practice and offer guidance and support to the social work team in working with children and families in need and in crisis. We are looking for a social worker with a passion for safeguarding children who can manage case load whilst offering support to their line manager, a real opportunity to develop you social work skills further!

There is an opportunity to join the developing Specialist Assessment team currently undertaking PAMS and Parent Assessment across the County, from Rural Northumberland to the Urban areas. This team is expanding to become a specialist assessment team to also include undertaking CASP-R and Sibling Assessments. Training in these specialist areas will be provided.  The job role is of an Advanced Practitioner and it is an exciting time to join this new developing team.
