Northumberland County Council have an exciting opportunity within Northumberland Adolescent Service, we are looking for a creative and passionate individual who wants to work with young people and their families making a different to their lives.  

 

Northumberland Adolescent Service (NAS) is a multi-disciplinary service committed to placing children and young people at the heart of all we do and aim to provide a quality service that provides positive outcomes.  The service is county wide and supports young people who are cared for, care leavers, 16+ who are homeless as well as those young people are open to the youth criminal justice system, on the cusp of offending or have substance misuse needs.

Band 7 Adolescents Worker (Youth Justice Service) 

 

We are seeking to appoint  an experienced, enthusiastic  and committed individual to join our Youth Justice Service to support young people and victims of crime within the out of court and court arena. This role involves completing comprehensive assessments with young people and supporting the delivery of interventions directed by court or through our out of court panel. 

 

We firmly value the participation and voice of the child through all areas of Northumberland Adolescent Service (NAS). As part of this role the successful candidate will have a lead within the Youth Justice Service to support and promote young people’s participation within the team, using their skills to gather and analyse feedback from young people that shapes future service development.
