Job Information

Northumberland Youth Justice Service work with young people (aged 10 to 19) with the aim of preventing them from offending, reoffending, and helping them to engage in activities to fulfil their potential. The YJS are part of Northumberland Adolescent Service including the 14+ social work team, leaving care, accommodation, substance misuse and participation teams. 

 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual to be part of our Turnaround Programme supporting young people on the cusp of offending. The overall aim of the programme is to achieve positive outcomes for young people and their families by improving the socio-emotional, mental health and wellbeing of children, while building on multi agency service links to support them. 

 

This post is a full time, permanent position, based at Northumbria House in Cramlington.
